for those of you who has some money to spend: UPGRADE YOUR FOG TO HID!. DO not spend money on cheap bulbs that look like HID. I wish our (at least 2002) TL and TL-S fog has HID in it. Anyway, you WILL NOT regret on this HID conversion. I bought philips 6000K called "ultinon" conversion for 9006 bulbs.

right behind the fog light. i think if you have intake you won't have any room. anyway I'll show you some pict. tonight after I'm done with work. I paid $600 plus $19 for shipping. It took me about 30min. to install. VERY EASY! Oh I have to stop by Home Depot to buy plastic slicon to cover the plugs. I forgot the name of it but you suppose to melt the silicon and pure right into plug joints so that it will be tight and waterproof.

I couldn't get good pic but some are ok.
it looks like I need to upgrade my stock lowbeam HID to 6000K.

1st. pic. is normal stock (60W, not 55W) fog lights with stock HID lowbeam.

pic. 3: Philips 6000K fog lights and stock HID lowbeam.

look at the lowbeam and the new 6000K fog lights. the stock HID lowbeam looks like halogen bulbs compare to 6000K fog lights.

It's the HID Kit...because the factory fogs doesn't have a ballast and ignitor. It's just Halogen.

acutally there is a empty space above the fog light. there is a space 'hallow' inside the bumper. you can stick the ballast right in there. you should have no problem! if you have the money, buy it! you will NOT REGRET!

hey TypeS_Monster

Would you be able to put the OEM hid for the lowbeam into the fogs, and put your 6000k fogs in the lowbeams? Now that would be a nice contrast.

I think you could do that but I bought same size as fog so that I don't have to redue the wires. the connectors are different.

our stock lowbeam bulb looks like this

You can get the set of philips Ultinion 9006 6000K Xenon HID Headlamp conversion kit for $579.00 and the shipping is FREE. Order this from

http://www.autolamps-online.com/prod...0066000kit.htm

I got mine from HID4LESS and it took 1 month to get it. Also, I paid $600 + $20 shipping. Not worth it!. Autolamps-online sell this for $579 w/Free shipping. Darn! I should have waited. They just reduced the price. anyway I'm going to order a set of light bulb 6000K for my low beam to match the fog.

Question 6000K Fog Lights

From what I am reading on their web site, these bulbs are not street legal, is this true?

If so, do you guys know which ones are street legal??

They arent street legal, then again your 20% tint isnt legal either...

I dont think cops will give your trouble for them in your low beams or fogs, but with 6000k in your low beams and fogs... damn thats gonna be BRIGHT!
