Considering a WRX...Is this just a phase?

Lately I have been jonesing for a potent, affordable 5 speed. Test drove a WRX wagon and was impressed. Prices on the WRXs appear to have dropped to hundreds above invoice. Leather is an available aftermarket option. I wasted the past weekend browsing through i-club.com. Is this just a phase, or should I trade in my TL for a WRX? Why should I keep my TL?

wrx's are pretty sweet cars. it really just depends on what you want your car for. if you want a car to mod a lot and drag and auto x then i would say go with the wrx. if you would rather have the more luxurious car then stick with the tl. they are both great cars for the price, just very different.

If you are looking for a car with power - you may want to hold out for one of these...

Hopefully it's just a phase.. I've been shopping around for a car for my brother and I got to drive one. It's fast and handles, but it's not as refined. I mean close the door and just listen.......... it's like tin foil. I lost by one in a race, but no sweat I look better in my TL-S than a bugged eyed subie. Oh and the insurance is expensive. Insurance for my brother would be $250 premium over a RSX type S or a Prelude.

no question the WRX and Lancer EVO are fast cars...

japanese version Lancer EVO can hit 0-60 in 4.2 sec!!!

but TL and WRX are differnt level cars...can't compare with...
don't know how to give u advise...

TL is combined with luxury and some sports character in it..

WRX is just a beast...

the one we get won't be that fast. ours will probably have closer to 250 hp. right now wrx's are right around 25k (at least the one at my local suburu dealership.

You can buy one used for dirt cheap. If you're willing to spend
a bit more though... hold out for the WRX STI.

damn, please tell me thats photoshopped. i dont see why a car wud b on a lake to being with....

yea, my friend just got a WRX in black for just under 25. i think its more of a kids car bc u cud get alot of performance out of $25k. but i do think its but ugly. the front seats r acutally roomy, and they r comfortable bucket seats, and it also has chrome instead of wood on the inside....

personally, i think the older Impreza 2.5RSs r ALOT hotter. this kid i know has one... the styling is so much better, and the inside is a million times better. he has black leather with red stitiching and it says 2.5RS or something in the headrests. too bad they r slow as ****. (same as V6 accord). at least compared to the new WRXs.

u said u were looking at a wagon, ithats not a bad idea bc i dont really like the back on the sedan. i think its a good move. but remember, u cant fit ppl in the back seats unless they r little kids...

u know the WRX wagon is faster than the new RSX's -S hehehehe i found that sick when i read it in Super STreet. but a TL is a luxury car and WRX is a sprots car.. i was gonna get a Imprezza STI but i felt class would be better with the TL... hehehe but its still a nice ass car.. fast too.. hehehe
