Comtech or OBX Headers

Looks like you've already answered your own question. But I'd say go with Comptech. OBX warranty sucks and several people have had problems with cracked headers already in just a few months of use.

I choose OBX for 320 shipped, tax, everything. I'm aware there's no warr. worth a shiat, but if in a few years I have to invest another 2 hours of my time to replace them I still wont regret the purchase.

I've had my OBX's for well over a year now. I initially had the resonance problem - but no problems now.
The upper parts look like golden chrome, and the lower part looks slightly golder than when they were initially installed. I love'em.

I just ordered Comptech, there was no debate between them and OBX. I've heard to many stories, and I only want to purchase headers once. Like bullybreed said you get what you pay for. I'll have mine installed Friday and I can't wait. I couldn't afford CT's a few months ago but it's worth it to just be patient and save up.

There is a group buy at a-cl.com going on for the new batch of Stone Headers and there are dyno results that are a bit better than the OBX's...
ps--I chose Comptech!

I have OBX headers and though the resonance was getting annoying. When I took off my headers they seemed to be in very good condition still and I'm going to get them coated. Once that is all said and done, I'm going to get some lock nuts for the downpipe. All and all, I'm very pleased with the performance and quality of the OBX headers...My headers seem to have a fairly good weld job and don't look like they would crack at all...Well that is just my two cents...others have different experiences and opinions with OBX.
