I visited my dealer over the weekend and he said Comptech HAD released a supercharger for our cars. I sent an email to Comptech asking if this is true and this was their response:
"Not true. We are working on one for the V6 Accord that should work on the TL as well, but it will be 6-12 months before we have anything."
If you should have any questions, please call. Thank you.

I Know many of you know this already but i figured i would let you know anyway just as an update.

They just made one for the S2000. I don't think they're busting their butts to make one for the TL. Maybe the CL & TL "S" models. Very expensive if they do make it one day?

The last time I was up there, they were working on a setup similiar to the NSX (supercharger with intake manifold), but realized that it was too high and the hood would not close. Now they are working on a setup similiar to the S2000 (paxton, I believe) and using a long rod to the pulley! Space is the concern here! I don't know the complete details on performance increase and I doubt Comptech will know until they actually get one going.

HKS is making a Turbo for the Accord V6. Jackson Racing is also supposedly making one for the V6 Hondas. Jackson Racing promises around a 40% gain in power. So the TL would be breaking 300hp to the flywheel. It would be comparable the Mercedes 3.2 liters that are supercharged, I think they are around 340 or so.

really guys, i dont think comptech will release a supercharger with that much HP. not that its not possible, but with an auto transmission, it will stress it tooo much. how long do you think an auto tranny like one on a TL would last? unless you get one built by level10. also the reason is that comptech still honors manufacturers guarantee, so that would not be a pratical thing to do. as for JR, it seems likely.

I offered Jackson Racing $50,000 and 50 orders to do the project supercharger for our TL 6 months ago. Their response was 200,000 and 200 preorders and I WOULD NOT get my invested capital back. They said that I wouldn't believe the research costs involved. So I doubt they are making anything for our TL.

The HKS Turbo Accord was freakin two and a half years ago, that project was scrapped forever and more ago. Prototype racing was to manufacture it, and if you check their website they haven't updated it in what? a year and a few months?!?
As far as current news goes, Comptech is working on it, yes it will have a shaft that runs across the engine. In fact it will look much like the Vortech Civic Si.
Another company is working on a Blower for the V6's. Mostly because of Accord V6 demand. Its going to be a positive displacement twin screw lysholm supercharger. That's all they really have worked out thus far, but its good that there will be competition.

There is some companny that made a supercharger for the civic that was intercooled as well. It was called something like Rimmer RMS liminova or something like that. The civic SC is their first in an upcoming line of superchargers for Hondas. I think their next project is the Accord TL since Comptech has stuff for the S2000 and Nsx and JR has for the integra.
