Comptech Strut Bar Question..

I searched already, and didn't find good answer.

Will an Accord Comptech Strut bar fit a 03 TL-S?

Yes, that will fit. A lot of parts interchange between the second gen and the 98-02 Accord, but not everything.

save your money for something that will benefit your car like sway bars, suspension wise or performance wise. all the strut bad does is take your money and add some bling to your engine bay. your stock one does the same as this one would.
but yea it will fit.

I agree. I dont see why you would waste cash on that unless the rest of your engine bay had something special to show off...

I have sway bars already. Just like the way the comptech strut bar looks.

u noticed a difference inside the engine bay. and maybe in your head. it does the same as the stock one, it even bolts up to the same points as the stock one. now if u had an accord that didnt come with one and u put one on, then you would notice a difference.

not necessarily. an aftermarket strut bar, especially a titianium one, would make the car tighter from side to side.

LOL, the Comptech strut bar is way lighter then the stock one. It is also better reinforced ie. it's more rigid. Your also wrong about one other detail... it bolts up to a 3rd bolt on each strut tower. Not that this makes a huge difference but still...

i think if it were completely useless.... comptech wouldn't have made one in the first place.. .

so my conclusion is... i bet its usefull in handling wise and stiffening wise thus comptech actually making one and selling for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

sure its useful but is it worth it?

theres some guys who believe comptech is god and have everything they ever made and all the power to them because that is high quality and very dependable stuff.

personally i wouldn't find this mod worth doing unless you already have f/r sways, good coilovers, and good tires and your suspension still isn't where you want it.

I totally agree. When building out a TL for better handling you should buy items in the following order:

- sway bars
- coilovers
- upgraded strut bar (upper & lower)

I regret never picking up sway bars.
