Comptech springs - how to identify left and right?

I'm buying some used Comptechs.

If I recall, there are different left and right springs up front.

Can someone tell me a reliable way to identify these?

Thanks.

not sure if you can used.........new they come with tags on them. I guess you could have the springs tested individually, but I'm sure it would be cheaper just to buy them new. All in all, the rates aren't that much different that it will make much of a difference, but I don't think there is anyway to tell which side is which without the tags.

I'm with AccordV6. Unless the original installer marked the springs for you, you're probably out of luck.

I marked my springs Left and Right w/ the spring rate from the tags before I installed - just to keep things straight if I ever needed to disassemble.

You can't tell them apart...the person that you bought them from should have marked them for you. That's what I did when I sold mine.
