how does it compare to AEM or Injen?
it is hard to install?
any dynos?
i did a search on it, but it seems like it hasn't been discussed as much as I expected.

1) I believe one person has it. The type S version are not out.
2) Supposedly it is the same gain as the AEM or Injen.
3) The one person who had said it was difficult. More so than the CAI is.
4) None at the moment.

I had it for about a week on my AV6......it was okay, the sound wasn't as great as I thought it would be. Power was slightly improved, certainly nothing to write home about, especially for the price. I sold it to a buddy a week later and put back on my "DIY" icebox (stock airbox with resonator removed, K&N, extending piping), and the power is the same, possibly slightly better, and the sound is much better in my opinion. The stock airbox just really fits the best, and I also like the complete sleeper look under the hood anyways, but the comptech was nice, but the price of it was too high and the stock airbox seemed much better quality and gave a better sound/power gain the way I have it set up (butt dyno ) Personally I'd get the Injen or AEM for the price difference, especially if you like it to stand out a little.

I have the Accord Icebox intake installed on my TL and I like it. It's been in for a few months now with no problems to report. AcuraTL is right tho, there's not much difference between the CT Icebox and the stock airbox with the resonator removed. The only thing that AcuraTL might have a problem with is with the Air Bypass. It should be easy enough to add that feature to your stock airbox as well tho.

I think the stock air box has a water trap between the filter and the throttle body so a bypass is not needed. Correct me if I'm wrong

The same goes for the Ice Box, the design supposedly prevents hydrolocking.

I'd have to take another look at the stock airbox to be sure. But the CT bypass is simply a 1/2" hole drilled in the side of the airbox with a rubber flapper over it. Total cheese... but it works.
