Stick your hand between the top of the tip, between the bottom of the bumper and the tip itself... I can barely stick my hand between the two on the left side, but can stick my hand between the two on the right side with no problems..

Haha, very funny Dub.

There is one finger height on the left side and one and a half finger heights on the right side. A difference of about a quarter inch.

Also, is the left side stick out of the bumper a drop than the right side? Just my paranoid observations..

I'm calling Greenwich Acura today to see if they can fix this (I had them installed there last Friday). It's the FIRST thing my friends noticed. How annoying is that. I put a $hitload of money into the car on Friday and the first thing my friends say is that the exhaust isn't even.

Here's a couple pics to show you.

Both left and right (left is near 1" lower)

Yup same problems. Two fixes.

Have someone bend the rear bracket so it hangs right. This is a pain in the ass to do. Those brackets are hard to bend.

Take a tie wrap and wrap it around the muffler bracket and around the frame bracket and tighten it until it hangs properly.

Alot of the stock TL-S' exhausts are doing the exact same thing also. Are the stock exhausts uneven too on the TL-P?? Makes me wonder if it is a Comptech thing or a TL thing

I have the same problem the one on the driver's side is uneven and lower than the other muffler. If this is a common problem maybe we should complain to Comptech.

Well, the guy that installed the exhaust told me that the hanger is longer on the left than on the right. That is why the left one is lower than the right.. I don't know if it is a manufacturer's defect or not.

I put my car up on a lift, I loosened everyhing, re-tightened, and the exhaust was sitting straight.. I drove home, about a two minute drive, got out, looked again, and they were uneven again..

My stock mufflers were like that on my CL-S. Per a tip from the CL board, I used a 3" hose clamp on top of the droopy rubber hanger to pull it up. They're perfectly aligned now.
