Comptech Exhaust

Does anyone know how to straighten the comptech exhaust muffler's. I have one muffler (left side) that is tilted to left slightly when looking from behind. It does not match the right side. The dealer said that there is no way to move the muffler as it is bolted to the rest of the system. Can the pipe be heated and then bent. Just curious if anyone else has had this problem.

Do a search and you will find a lot of info about that problem. Many people have experienced that problem and have found a solution. I really don't remember so that's why I told you to do a search.

I think most are just using the zip ties.

Thanks for the info guys! I don't think the zip ties will help with the problem because it's not the height that's off, it's the tilt of lthe muffler can and I can't move it by hand. I guess it will have to be heated and bent slightly to make it the same as the right side.
