Comptech Exhaust?
I just order a pair Comptech Exhaust last friday, do you guys think Comptech exhaust sounds good as it is or should I cut out the resonator in the muffler shop for even a louder sound and better exhaust flow?

comptech exhaust sounds really good. cutting out the resonator is pretty dumb in my opinion. if you want a real loud exhaust don't go with Comptech. remember, this isn't a race car...

Comptechs are not loud at all. You can barely hear it. If you want the loud deep throaty sound, go with Greddy or Tanabe. But if you like the little nice deep exhaust note while keeping the classy status, Comptechs is the one to get. I personally like how it's pretty quiet.
In the past, I have owned RS&R (on my 93 Prelude), Greddy PE (on my 97 Preldue), and Greddy SP (on my 97 Prelude)... and I'd say Comptechs (on my TL) is quieter than RS*R.

I think comptech exhaust is pretty loud for a luxury car. I have a friend with Dinan exhaust on his 328is BMW. Comptech is pretty close to the loudness of the Dinan exhaust.
On the highway the exhaust tone is pretty nice but can get annoying if you have a headache =P.
But people definitely do turn there heads when I go by...
Keep them how they ship... BTW if you get pulled over for smog you will be regretting it if the exhaust does not pass smog especially in CA.
Good luck.

needs to be lowered soon (big wheel gap), maybe H&R Sport Springs?
