comptech drop question

it appears to that when you drop the car with stock shocks, the shocks will wear quickly.

i assume because the shock becomes more compressed after the drop, effecting the shock travel distance.

so if i drop the car and get new shocks.....

what do you replace the stock shocks with...on a tl with a comptech drop.

do i get different shocks?.

I've had Comptech springs since May 1999 and I am still riding on stock shocks. My shocks are fine.

I've had Comptech springs on my 00 TL since late 99 and after 60K miles, stock shocks are still good.

My drop was 2" front and barely 7/8" rear.

My ride is fine, even with my 18s. Of course it isn't as soft as when it was stock but it isn't that harsh either.

Yes, if you're going to replace your shocks anyways, do not replace them with stock. The stock shocks are "okay" but they are bouncy even if they are brand new.

Yeah--I have the stock shocks as well and over 27k miles on the springs in a year...I don't have any harshness either...
