The comptech cold air box....

Hello all,

I have seached through the forum about this product it seems to only have upsides meaning it draws in cold air from the fender area will not allow water to get inside it is quiet and because of being made of plastic it will not be subject to very much heat soak so my question is why have folks decided to go with the AEM solution with teh bypass? Just curious there must be something I'm missing.

Thanks,
Norcalsguy

because the AEM has those cool colors and probably makes more noise.. not only that, the Type-S version of the Ice Box isn't coming out until the SC is out.

The number of 99-01 and TLP owners on this board are getting less and less.. even tho the AV6 IceBox fits these cars, many of these owners are opting to get the TLS or already have the AEM
