Comfort?

I recently took my 2002 TLS w/nav on a grand east coast tour, 3,000 miles in three days. It is everything advertised and more except for one thing.

For the life of me I couldn't find a seat position that was confortable. My legs got cramps and my butt got numb. I tried every concievable position but to no avail. I am 5' 11" and average weight.

Have any of you experienced this?

If so, does anyone have any suggestions?

I love the performance and handling but my butt is not happy.

I realize that sitting for 3K miles would ruin anybody's butt however, this happens all the time be it on a short trip or whatever. Maybe I'm built funny or maybe I'm just funny

Yea, I think you're built funny.

I took my TL for a east tour 2 years ago and it was great. Like I said before, our cars are GREAT highway cruiser. The ride was so comfortable that my wife slept most of the ride down. I took it from NJ to FL and back (close to 3000 miles too).

If I'm not mistaken, TL-S seats are more "harsh" than TL-P? I think the seats in TL-P is more like a sofa

I have a TL-S and took it down to Florida, Daytona to be exact and was comfortable as can be the whole ride down. My friend slept pretty much the whole way, when he woke up he said the seats were too comfortable he just couldn't stay awake. Mind you I drove the whole ride down minus 2 hrs and the entire way home. No numbness what so ever...although stretching was a welcome change from the same seated position.
