Red face Com[tech Camber adjusters

Does anyone have them and what do they improve or correct? Do you use them with a suspension or can they standalone with stock?

When your suspension drops more than 2" the wheels start to camber in (Like Knock-kneed people) The camber kit will compensate for that and put less strain on the components.

Stock suspension shouldn't need them. Even my Comptech springs don't need them.

Thanks, so I shouldn't bother if I get 17 inch and drop 1 inch? It wouldn't help?

Don't even have to entertain it. My car is dropped 1.75 and I'm getting 17s too. No one said a peep to me.

1" lower than stock won't affect your camber too much. You're still getting negative camber than stock for sure... but it's so minimum, you could almost ignore it. I'd say if you lower your ride more than 1.5", you might need to get the camber correction kit.
I think there were some ppl with Comptechs that were getting uneven tire wear because of the negative camber. How are you guys with Comptech springs? Any uneven tire wear?? Please confirm.

My previous car (97 lude) was lowered 1.75" and I was gettng hecka uneven tire wear... so I'm guessing a TL would also.

Thnks in advance. I'm thinking of switching to Comptechs from H&R... damn thing isn't low enough for me any more!
