Cold weather squeak

I have a squeaking sound coming from the right front wheel well, sounds like something in the suspension. It only happens in cold weather. Anyone else have this problem, any sugesstions on a cure?

Is the suspension modified? If so, jack it up and make sure everything's bolted it tight.

If it's stock, then I don't know. Have someone else drive slow and you can walk along the car, and pinpoint the source.

There are problems with the front wheel bearings in some years, my car needs both fronts replaced (o2 TLS), Make sure you aren't hearing a squealing bearing. Mine made more noise in the cold, but it was more of a growling sound.

It is not a growl. I can make squeak when I push down on the front fender. It is stock suspension.

My front left suspensions squeaks as well when I push on it or go over a bump. I've had my 2002 since 7/02 and I know now it is only during cold weather.

I had the dealer check it out about a year and a half ago, but they didn't find anything. I have 62000 miles on my Type S and will be taking it in for the scheduled service soon.

Things I will be getting fixed or looked at:
Squeaky driver suspension
Rattling sunroof cover
Squeaky driver seat
Get the tranny looked at (just in case-haven't noticed anything weird though)
Get the fog light switch fixed. The little light is out on the button(went out about 5-10k miles ago).
Get the rotors checked. They were machined once around 15000 miles.

I took in my car (as I mentioned I would) for service Friday, but since they waited till late morning to check for the squeak, they didn't find it as the temp went up. HOWEVER, they did notice "excessive squealing" from my transmission and they ordered me a new one! It stinks that I still haven't gotten my money's worth out of my extended warranty, as Acura extended the tranny warranty and negated the benefits I would have gotten from the extended warranty.

My dad's lexus RX300 does that and the dealer can't find anything. They always wait too long to look at it, they hear it, they just can't find it.

My guess is that it's the ball joints. I had to replace upper/lower both sides on my 92 Accord last year to make the squeak go away. It did it over bumps and if you push on the fender and also made a rubbery squealing sound when rounding a tight corner especially in the cold weather. It wasn't the bushings though because I had them replaced and it made no difference.

Yup its the ball joints....mine was doing that on the drivers side.

I had both mine replace a year ago. around 55,000 kms ... right when they were putting COMPTECH springs on under warranty ofcourse. Now a year later and 77,000 kms its doing it again. But I don't think they will replace it under warranty as I have COMPTECHS... DAMN !!! I'll try though ...can't hurt... I mean there does seem to be common issue here weather your suspension is modified or not

I wonder what this would cost if not under warranty? Right now, mine doesnt squeak, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to get this done now that the weather is warming up and my warranty runs out....
