There is a sensor at the bottom of the IAC Valve which is on the bottom of the TB. You may be able to get away with replacing that. First I'd check the connection. If it's good then get a new sensor. If that doesn't work get a new IAC Valve. They aren't very expensive. About $120.00. They are a little bit of a pain in the ass to get off the TB sometimes. I had to cut slits in the screw head with a dremel to get mine out as it stripped. You'll need a small gasket too. Really very easy part to change out. A bad IAC Valve will make your car run like shit though and of course idle worse.

I would buy the new gasket for TB to manifold and IAC gasket

take TB off car, flip over and remove iac cover--clean IAC completely
with carb cleaner- take shaft out- should all rotate smooth when done
make sure any power leads are clean and tight

do that before buying expensive parts, and once its clean you will know if there is a larger problem

codes are clues,, not diagnosis

If you have more than 80kmiles and have not done the EGR port cleaning yet-
do it all at the same time
remove intake manifold for cleaning and TB comes with it!!

TB= the thing the iac `idle air control valve` is on the bottem of!

The round plate blocking its pass thru opening to the manifold- regulates the amount of intake air --press the gas pedal and the plate moves from vertical to horizontal- air moves in= engine go faster~

there was a diagram of the iac and how to clean posted in the regular threads
try a search for post by fsttyms1 and valve (search wont take 3 letter iac)
It is more than the rubber disc- go inside that and pull out the rod for cleaning-
the rod rotates to change bleed air amount for idle control
carbon/crud of some type clogging is common

I needed to replace the IAC some time ago. I decided to purchase from dealer so I could fix problem immediately. I went to Acura to purchase and they were out. Guy told me to go to the Honda dealer as it's the same part as on the Accord V6, and turns out $30 bucks cheaper too.
