CLS front seat conversion...

This is definately not a plug and play mod...I just finished putting in both sides, and the wiring harness from my old seats had to be used with the CLS seats...and the driver side was a pain in the ass...I had to swap seat motors, and a bunch of other parts in order to fit the harness in.....so, just wanted to advise you guys....contrary to kman156s posts, it is NOT plug and play...I had to use quite a few parts from my 00 TLP seat to get the DS to work. Pics will be up after my car is out of the body shop and stuff...

Sounds sweet. You should come to the next Jersey meet. I would love to see your car in person.

mcf-I always plan on it, but my car is always getting stuff added/fixed and so on. I hope for it to be done for the year in about 1 month, with which things seem to be going somewhat according to plan..just waiting to get the body work done, and than going to have to ship out the interior to get reupholstered...

johnny, I dont think so, b/c of the fact that the CLS seats tilt forward automatically when you lift the handle...there seems to be alot of extra crap in the seats becuase of that...

well of course .. seating harnesses usually change over time to compensate for different factors .. its not that big a deal to cut and soder or cut and connect different wires .. no biggy just a bit time consuming and annoying
