closing winows after removing key

for the while i had my car whenever i turned off my engine and removed the key i was still able to open and close all my windows for a relatively long period of time. id say a few minutes minimum. but recently sometimes when i pull the key out the windows lose their juice right away or within a few seconds. is this a sign of a dying battery or anything else?

be sure nobody is opening any of the doors when you try to use the windows after the key is taken out that automatically locks the windows
