Hammerton if you don't like your car, stop *****ing and just sell it!! I'm all for free expression, but if you want to Acura bash go to a Lexus site and do it. No one here wants to read that sh*t. We all work hard for what we have and are proud of our cars. So of course Tim banned your post. BTW Acura is far from a POS. Honda/Acura makes one of the most reliable cars out there if not the most reliable. Grow up and DEAL with it!!

 

I'm sure my IP will be blocked shortly and I'll have to change it. They'll block my domain eventually, but I have plenty of those as well. It's a shame that you can't make a negative comment about your car without being attack by these that are happy with their's. I am glad everything is going well for those 80% of you but what about use 20% having problems are we not allowed to talk about it!

Out of curiosity, what are you really trying to accomplish? There are probably a handful of people on the board that share your opinion - you already had there support. The majority of people perceive your diatribes as negative and don't (won't) agree with you no matter how much you post and complain. Let it go dude, just let it go. This is a car board, not some justful cause waiting for another Norma Ray to crusade for it.

 

Actually I wish I was wealthy because I dream of taking my Acura to my dealer and offering everyone the opportunity to hit it with a sledge hammer for $50 dollars a turn. Take the money and give it to someone that had their life destroyed by the turn of events in New York!

Read thru the 26,000+ threads and see how many other people have complained about their TL's. We try and help people with TL probs - FOR 2 YEARS NOW!. And we have a good reputation.
Like the other members have said - make your complaints rationally. Don't just come here and make derogatory comments without merit.

And stop posting so much!!! If you're so ready to be banned that's no problem - I'm just giving you a chance to be a part of the forum. OK?

 

I'd like to quickly remind everyone that being a member on a forum means you are a guest on the moderator's machine. Would you behave this way in your friend's living room?

He can run it any way he sees fit, fair or not. If you don't like it, you are free to leave.

Now in the moderator's defense, we have always been very free to post messages discussing our cars' shortcomings. I haven't been following your issue but I suspect you either were rude or are BS'ing and the moderator saw through it.

first, for christ's sake this is a personal webpage, and this is a private forum to be exact. the owner, admin, moderators can do whatever they want. you like it, stay. you don't like it, leave. tough

second, a lot of people also complain about acura and i hardly see mods locking threads without a reason. you have to have valid reason or evidence if you ask me. constructive complains, it's all about constructive.

third, one way or the other these threads are OT, they don't belong to this forum. imho they should be locked immediately regardless.

fourth, i don't think many people would consider your post funny, useful, or even interesting, especially this one. say all you want, but there is a reason why there are so many people lurking around here and not feeling offended or uncomfortable. and if you continue to do this, i am sure no one will even care if you stay or not.

 

If you want to ***** and moan, learn how to spell the word "hear" correctly. I think you also need to go back and learn some manners from grade school. Have you been living in a cave for 10 years? I can care less about Hammerton's irrational complaints about his car...but I just had to bring up the fact that TL Daddy posted for the first time in which it seems like ages...how you doing TL Daddy, I always thought you were one of the most helpful and cool TL guys around...I also liked your mods too...take cares!

"irrational", my problems are no different than the common problems that exist with our cars except my Rack&Pinion that had to be replaced. You have proved my point once again, please ignore my posts in the future and most others having problems probably feel the same way.

I will make sure I do that, at least. Thank you. And oh, I still feel very confident asking people in this forum about the problems I have. Somehow I feel I get very good compliment and suggestions from people here, and they really give out good comments. If memory serves me right most of the useful posts are from reputable people in this forum like Mr. Hyde and TL Daddy.

Sometimes I wonder why I am so lucky to get so many good responses from people even though I know some of my questions were repeated or stupid, but 2 mins ago I figured why. It's all about manners and attitude.
