Exclamation Clock light went out, how do I replace?

The backlight that lights up the clock at night went out, but the clock itself still works and shows the time. How do I go about replacing the bulb?

Is it an easy task? what kind of bulb is needed?

You have to take the piece of dash its attached to off. It only takes about 5 min to do. Once out then you can see the bulb

Use this to remove the dash piece

I'll probably tackle this project next weekend, but do you know what kind of bulb I will need?

2 screws will take a weekend Thats all that involves this project (that and pulling it loose from a few clips.

Dont know off hand. In all honesty it would be easiest to head to the dealer and ask for the bulb.

u don't need to take ur steering column cover off, or the sunroof and TCS buttons, just leave them in and disconnect the wires. and go to a dealer for a bulb. mine charged me 7 bucks.

It is easier to get the dash piece off with the steering column cover off and dont have to worry about scratching it up, but not necessary. That and the climate control knobs dont need to be removed
