Clock light and other warranty work
So besides getting a flat today that I had to change in the rain, my clock light decided to go out. I'm gonna make an appointment for next week to have that fixed along with replacing the headlights that SOMETIMES get condensation. As well as the black moldings next to the windows that turned to shit. I paid a lot of money for this car, and received the "Certified Warranty" I'm gonna damn well use it. The car is going in for warranty service only. I'm not gonna pay a dime.

Prick of the month
So are you saying that all those little things are 100% guaranteed to be covered by warranty? I bought the extended 7 year 100k bumper to bumper warranty(thank god) and they have had no problem replacing broken motor mounts, fried circuit board in dash cluster, etc. Large, expensive replacements like that with no hesitation, yet they act like I'm asking them to move a mountain when it comes to small things like lights going out and pillars. I love my dealership, they're awesome, but they tell me "wear and tear". Are they just BSing me?

If its still under the normal warranty, those things should be covered.

I'm starting to wish I had bought a certified Acura now. Some of my climate control lights don't work, the driver's side HID went out, the door pillars are of course jacked, and the driver's side seat warmer doesn't work.
Sucks when you pay almost 20K for a car and all that stuff goes out.

Im suprised my 99 with 99,7xx miles has none of those problems only the pillars are like shedding and wrinkling and stuff, other than that all the little things are perfect, except for the drivers seat(I think) that rattles when I hit a small bump or even when Im driving regularly, someone know how to fix that? It bothers me and it makes my car seem like its a 93 civic.

I stopped in there after work and explained my situation and what I had going on with the car. I showed them the moisture in the headlight (which he said is rare),I showed him that my hood struts didn't hold either (which apparently mine was the worst he's ever seen), I showed him the trip of the window that was wrinkled (apparently they just take it all off and paint it, don't know why that wasn't done in the first place), and they are going to fix the clock light (which will be nice until it warms up and I put in LEDs this summer). All for free! Going to drop it off after work Monday and get a new loaner until it's done! So far they are treatin' me good!
All in all, I was surprised actually. Acura does great for their customers! Everything is under warranty with no question and no problems! (Plus there were two REALLY cute receptionists!)

My dealer is usually very good with me as far as warranty work. My appointment is for the 1st of March with a loaner car. The clock light is bothering me the most.

UPDATE: 3/1 /07
They fixed the clock light with no problem. As far as the headlights, they gave me a poor excuse that I have aftermarket bulbs and caused a weak seal. lol So my friend that works at ANOTHER dealership is going to handle that for me next week.
The moldings were ordered, but they need the car to go to a bodyshop to replace/paint them so it wont happen again. As soon as they get it I can bring the car in and pick up my loaner. Today they gave me a TSX and I was VERY happy to get my TL-S back. The TSX is nice but nothing compared to my TL.
