Clock light

I recently noticed that the backlit light of my clock in my 99 is out. Is there anyway to replace this or is it just the fuse. If so, is replacement with a different color light possible.

Thanks.

thats all it is a "story". just because you posted it in 4 forums doesn't make it true.

What has happened to my thread?

So if I went it, w/o warranty and asked them to replace it would it cost a lot of money, even if I bring the bulb?

So what's the deal with the clock light? Mine is out too, and I'm interested in replacing it. Focus gentlemen, focus!

Is there a bulb in the clock?

Is there really a bulb in the clock? My bodyshop is telling me that the clock is a single sealed unit and there is no way to just change the bult, they got to replace the clock itself.. Sounds like bullsh$t because I see on the picture one of you guys has it in a different color... What does the bulb look like? Does it have a name or a part number?

Why would you have to replace the clock if the only thing not working is the light?

I could see it being a single sealed unit but I still think the bulb can be replaced.

The bulb can be replaced. It just sits in a socket
