is the clock supposed to light up at night so you can see it?

 

Yes, actually there is a backlite on it when the car is on.

 

Mine went out sadly, anyone know how to replace?

 

My clock light went out, but it was still under 50k so the dealersip warranty the lightbulb and did the replacement.

 

i have 99tl, i just replaced mine. i dont have the part number for the blub, but it was very simple. i removed 2 screws from by the guages, on the upper part. then i just pulled out the dash console, it takes a bit of pulling but it will come out. unplug all the wires and there you go. you might want to get the bulb first from the dealer. hope this helps.
