Climate Control Mode Switch
Another experience with my TL, this time with the climate control system:
Today I am driving to work in the rain and realized that my windshield defroster doesn't work in the bi-level mode between the floor and the windshield. I toggled between the different modes, and then found out that the air wasn't being directed from the top to the bottom vents at all. From the looks of things, it appeared as if the only mode that worked was the dash vents. So I play around with the modes, toggling through them all and eventually I get them all to work again . . . for a bit. At times it will hesitate to switch from the dash vents back down to the floor vents, I'm talking at least 30 seconds from the time I make the cycle. So in a nutshell, my mode switch mechanism doesn't seem to be too happy. Anyone ever experience this, I am looking for a solution. Thanks!
