I have found that my car will always make a clicking noise (similar to a noisy valve) if I've left it parked for a few minutes after driving it. If you rev the engine, the noise speeds up.

It doesn't happen on a cold start, just when I restart it after driving.

Does any one else get this noise? Does anyone else know what it is?

 

I think from earlier posts that it is normal...emissions related.

 

Yup its normal.... Dealer told me its the purge solonoid or something.

Yeah I had the same problem. I forget what he told me (blah blah)... It actually went away...
