Question Clearing Headlights: Precautions?

Any precautions I should take when going through the process of clearing headlights?

Wear vinyl/latex golves so you don't leave fingerprints on the lense. Tape off the turn signal area. Have GOOD sealant. Some recommend Nissan sealant but you could use outdoor silicone from Home Depot or Lowe's.

GL!

Even if you don't paint them, still wear gloves.
