Switch Question

Hey all. I recently purchased a switch similar to this:

I want to install this switch to control some of my lighting. I have the pos/neg from the ends of the lights that are not connected to anything right now. I want to know where to connect the pos/neg from the lights to, and where is a good source to connect the power from the switch.

I kind of have an idea as to where each end goes:
-Power wire attaches to POWER
-Positive wire from light attaches to ACC
-Negative wire from light attaches to GROUND/EARTH

If I got that right, let me know. Still need to know where a good place to tap into for a power source.

light power to switch acc
light ground either to switch or battery ground

^what he said. you only need a bat ground to the switch if you want it to light up tho. it will still control the lighting without one. it just wont light up.

the accessory or what ever the op is trying to light up also needs a ground. either to the body/frame (use star washers) or batt/ switch ground position
