have no fear... http://www.acurainspired.com/forums/...?showtopic=572

the only difference between that DIY and abunchofcars is the guy on abunchofcars used a wetrag instead of cardboard for the oven (either will work, u prolly have a wetrag lying around over a large piece of cardboard), and he cleared out the honda bond with a heat gun after taking apart the lights and filled the channels with clear silicone sealant and then let it clamp over night...i bought some silicone sealant and put a layer of that over where the headlights split from after sleaing it just for a little more protection

The acurainspired diy is prolly a little simpler, but i'd buy at least 4 or 5 clamps to clamp the headlights over night...it helped alot...and be sure to hold the headlights shut with ur own hands as tight as u can for at least 5-10 minutes before clamping, getting all the tabs together again. Also, me an darkfox baked the lights for 12 minutes rather than 7...made it easier to pull apart.

The AcuraINspired forum says that you can use existing sealant or add your own. They suggest CAREFULLY adding your own...

the DYI makes it sound like the headlights are very hard to pry open? so its actually much easier?? what about getting the sealant all over the place
