You DEFINITELY will get pulled over if it flashes RED or BLUE.
White or yellow/amber is okay.

AndySara, I think you got it the other way around. How are you gonna get pulled over if your spoiler light flashes red? thats the way it comes from the factory. If it is white or blue you will definitely get pulled over.

I was thinking of something else.
Some Ricers around here have their cars modded so that when they hit the brake pedal, their spoiler light strobes red (blinks rapidly), instead of just a constant red light.

 

You can't have blue white or amber for brake lights. Its Red exclusive for brake lights. Amber is only ok for turn sig. My friend has his brake light blink when he applies the brake and then it comes to a constant red in a couple of second. This is legal because you can do that by plusing your brake.

 

Also the LED you want is Part#2240C 17.5 inch (this is for OEM spoiler) at www.spoiler.com. Good luck and its an easy install.

Wait a minute......the part is 17.5" long? Why have I been seeing people order 15.5"?

 

OEM spoilers are different than aftermarket.

i believe its 17.5 for the OEM and 15.5 for the aftermarket. (someone confirm this)
I got it a while ago and it looks great.

 

17.5 is for OEM. If you have aftermarket spoiler its most likely 15.5. Measure the led and then take a pic and email it to Ken at www.spoiler.com and he will help you out. Goodluck!

all this site has is the 15.5 size and round and with tabs? im confused , and the spoilers.com site is just a graphic without any clickable link to open a full page

 

its just a link that i came across in case i wanted to do something custom to my third brake light so i really don't know what they have that fits or doesn't you'll have to contact them on your own

What size is your bulb now? Not 15.5"?

yea i will have to go measure , i was just lazy and other posters said the oem wing led is 17.5 not 15.5 . guess ill have to measure it myself i have to do everything around here, GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

YOU could also check with the dealer and see if the LED spoiler is the same part number/size etc as the CL and if so you could order the CL 17.5" if needed..
