cleaning the navi screen?
Was wondering what is the best way to clean the navi screen besides using the blue paper, is it okay to use a wet towel??
When sunlight falls directly on the screen I can see a large number of scratches on the screen, these are not visible otherwise, is this normal?

I haven't seen any scratches on my screen, but I've only used the blue navi cloth, a lambswool duster, and the condensation from my breath on it. I guess it's a good idea to stay away from using any chemicals, even windex on the screen.

Both my MDX and TL-S have real fine lines across the entire face of the Navi display that you can only see in bright sunlight. The MDX's are horizontal and the TL-S's are vertical. They're not scratches, as they appear to be very consistent and go all the way to the ends of the display. I'm assuming it has something to do with the touch sensitivity of the screen.
OK, listen up. I sell A/V equipement and I personally use both a digital camera and a digital camcorder . Each unit has the viewscreen and they are (pardon me) a ***** to keep clean. The very best way to clean these screens AND your navi screen is a cleaning cloth I got directly from SONY.
It is SONY part#7-741-900-53. It is labeled as "cloth, wiping (230x230mm) and also says on the label CCD-TR55. It cost me $7 as I recall. It will make your Navi screen look like new. There are some photo stores, ie Wolf or Ritz, that carry a similar product but I have not used theirs. I have the SONY and I will swear by it. Buy it!
Here is a direct link to SONY for it . . . just enter the part # 7-741-900-53
