Cleaning leather seats

hey guys,

as you can see from my other post i just got a 00 SSM TL. I wanted to clean the leather seats just a bit this weekend. What product do you guys use? I never had a car with leather so i dunno.. Oh and its the black leather..

I mean, i dont want the leather to be alll glossy, shiny, and/or wet looking.. Just something that will make it look more like when it was new..

thanks !!

Use Lexol Cleaner/Cond. (2 bottles) No greasy feel, no wet look. If you want the best UV protection get 303 (this is a protectant and not a full fledge cleaner.....so use Lexol to clean)

I went a few parts stores around here, and no one had lexol. But they carried all the usual brand stuff like: armor all, blue majic, meguirs, etc...

ANyways, i drove about 25 mins. to a pepboys and found the lexol. I bought all 3 bottles cleaner/conditioner and the vinal cleaner (blue bottle). I will give it a shot tomm.. What parts of the seats are vinal? I heard on the tops of the seats are leather???

Also, there was a pack of the armor all leather wipes in the trunk.. I guess the previous owner used that.. whatever he used wasn't that good, i mean the seats are in good shape, just not that clean.. WE'll see how the lexol works.. i will give an update after i try it..

thanks again for your help people !!

Oh this was the perfect timing for this to be discussed again! I knew I had to do something had to be done to my TL this weekend, and I forgot. I use Meguiars leather cleaner/conditioner. I usually do it ever 2 weeks in the summer. The black leather and Atlanta sun don't tend to get a long. I noticed a crack so I'm tryin to keep it moisturized.
