Cleaning Comptech exhaust
Cleaning Comptech exhaust
Thinking of getting the Comptech exhaust for that throaty sound members are talking about. For those of you have it, is it a hassle to keep it clean and shiny? I'm always washing and polishing my stock exhaust tips. It must be difficult to keep reaching under the car to wash, dry and polish that stainless steel. It must be well worth it
Hey Rock, check the link in my sig for pics. Since we have the same car, you can get an idea of what it looks like!!
When I wash my car, I use a brush for the bottom. When I get to the back, I just wash the mufflers with the brush. After I rinse the car and dry it I usually wipe down the mufflers, then use a stainless steel polisher. Yes I have to get down under the car, but it only takes about 2-3 min. and it makes them shine. I do the whole can and the tips. Looks great after it's washed, looks better after it's polished!!
