Clay Bar???

Ok i just bought some piece of crap clay bar. I was wondering what the best clay bar is? Mothers, Meguiars, or anything else? Do they come any bigger than a credit card size? Any help would be great.

Ask Neil(NSXNEXT) He pointed me in the right direction. Now my paint job looks like water. He will tell you how to use it as well and give you good tips. PM him.

Mothers Clay bar saved my TL... I once HAD a tree that spit a very sticky and tenatious sap all over the hood, top and trunk. I phoned a few body shops and one even suggested " use turpentine..." :wow:
This credit card sized clay bar used with the lubricant supplied in the kit, miraculously removed the sap and other contaminents that was stuck to the surface of the car.
Car was like new....
I was pleased to say the least
Good luck.

Mother's is good, but Clay Magic is king. I also recommend the Zaino clay bar, that's what I use. Although Zaino can't be found in stores.

BTW, Meguiars clay bar is not very good. Tends to dissolve when you use too much lube on it.

Talking Zaino available in stores in Canada

Hey,

There's at least one benefit to living in Canada (besides healthcare) -- they sell Zaino in stores in southwest Ontario. A chain of salon/car stores called 'the barber's chair' sells it. That's where I get my supply...

Got mine today. Wash tonight, wash tomorrow morning, clay, clay, clay, coat of wax by the afternoon, let her sit overnight, wash the next morning, coat of wax, wait few hours, coat of wax... thats the plan!

I wish they had a giant pond of liquid wax, submerge the whole car in and out. Then we don't have to do all these tasks.
