Class Action Clear-up
Class Action Clear-up
Quick question, my car meets the specifics on this class action suit. 19uu5..., my question is if the plaintiffs win, and byb how i read the pdf file on it. i can contact my honda/acura dealership adn demand the warranties provided by the court?
again, just to clarify ... i bought my 02 tl-s w/o any of the dealership warranties, thinking bout the reliability of honda/acuras. This shouldnt matter right coz of the class action suit right? Apologies if im a bug, i love my tl-s and im just nervous bout the whole situation. Thanks!

because it was the designers fault, and basically aftermarket shops/dealer use the same design, and cuz of it, is why the tranny fails....u and i know and lots of peeps know, if theres the accident, and if they didnt know the tranny was damaged at the time, it would show signs that it was damaged from the accident, yes, but because of the design of the tranny, i say would overrite the issue that it was damaged from teh accident.

If it did read that, can ANYONE please point that link out to me, or at least that section.
Once the car has a salvaged title, that is a good enough reason for any dealer to deny warranty service, whether it is mentioned or not in the document you are reading, it is not covered. You will have to refer back to all other documents eventhough it is not mentioned in other documents. Let's take one example, someone drove the car underwater then took the car to the dealer for all repairs, and argued that the manual did not mention not to drive underwater. As you can see it is clearly not covered eventhough it is not mentioned anywhere in the document.
salvage titles don't neccesarily mean that they have to go to a junk yard. it means that the car is declared a total loss, but one can do repairs on it and sell it as a salvage title. most banks will not issue loans towards cars with salvage title. you should have done your homework and used carfax before you bought the car. there are plenty of katrina cars out there (flood damage). you have to watch out.

Believe me, had I known it had a salvaged title, I never would of bought it. None the less, it's mine now so I have to deal with it. But after reading the letter about the class action suit, and also the .pdf file on line at that www.hondatransmissionsettlement.com, in no where did it read or say that cars with salvages title were excluded.

And 2, yes im sure about it (honda themselves told you that as well) . ITs the way it is with all cars. Once it has a salvaged title car manufacturers/dealers are no longer responsible for warranty work. To my knowledge the only thing that has to be done is Recall work which this is not a recall.
