Chrome Shiftplate

Hey everyone..i was wonderin about the chrome beneath the paint- Can i just scratch it off or just use something like nail polish remover, or is paint thinner the only way 2 go?

Only 99 TLers can do this mod. Do a seach, I forget what they used to remove the paint.
