Chrome shift outer plate

Hi guys...
I am gonna import this for my TL if it fits perfectly...Since this piece is custom made by my friend in HK, so I am not sure it will look good on our TLs. When I see the outcome, then I will start a GB for that...what do you guys think?

Is it plated on steel or just chrome over plastic?

I believe that it is the replacement of the original plastic plate.
I have to import one to check if it is.

Very nice. Just let us know with the details. You are one step away from having me commit to it!

/What about the shift gate?

the best bet is to wait for El pana/TL32 in order to get us the chrome 5-speed shift gate plate or the chrome shift gate plate coming off from a 99 model.

Looks cleaner without it.

I guess if you need the key to get it out of gear just pop the piece off
