Can you order stock chrome rims directly from Acura? If so how much do they run?

 

for the price you pay, you can get some really nice aftermarket rims.......i woudl suggest doing that!

If I could remember well they are 17's....Tire's and rim's were like $1800 from the dealer installed.....this was when I bought my 99 TL....so I don't know if it changed.

 

Damn, I thought someone had said that they were 800 for just the rims...thats gotta be way off then. Has anyone done a chrome wheel exchange, where they send you the same rims chromed and you send back your originals? I just want my stock rims chromed, I might just end up getting them dipped. Whats the turn around time on that? Any insight is appreciated.

 

I'm sure you have the TL-S 17's.....The chrome rims for the TL that acura sells are not the same model....they look different.

You could get yourself some aftermarket 17,18 chrom rims and sell your stock 17's....they sell very well around $600-$800.

The only chrome rims my dealer said they had were for the TL-P - 16", they didn't have any 17" options. Go aftermarket, but even aftermarket choices are limited due to the offset of our wheels.

 

I saw a guy in Battery Park two days ago driving a 2002 CL with chrome factory rims. Looked very nice. Its the first time I saw a 2002 TL/CL with factory rims, chromed

 

Thanks guys...I just like the look of stock rims chromed. If I boght the car maybe I would look to put different rims on it.
