I've seen a lex with a chromed out grill, it was a little gauty but not too bad. I was thinking if there were a way to just chrome the honeycomb center of the grill, it might look tight. What do you guys think?

I think it'll make the car looks like it has braces in between the teeths. You might get better results meshing it

Take a look in the gallery section on the first page. There is a black 99 from Florida that did it. I think it looks tight, and I would definately do it too. I tried to, but could not find a place anywhere locally that could do it (the downfall of living in Massachusetts!).

I think it compliments the car nicely. I always like more chrome on cars, not less. I never understand why people want to remove chrome to look "sporty", but then "must have" chrome rims. Doesn't make any sense! It's all chrome or nothing!!! Good luck!

Actually, I think that black 99 has a new meshed grill. Not a chromed original. Probably costs less to mess the grill than to chrome the orignal.
