CheckMyRide
I saw a press release on a new website called CheckMyRide (www.checkmyride.com). Kinda of a cool site that allows you to track your vehicle (current or historical) across the U.S.
Looks like you can get a free vehicle history report too.
Might be handy for those looking at a used vehicle or just wondering what happened to that older TL they used to have before they got the new one.

I ran this and it stated that in '07 the title of my car was marked as salvaged in CO. I bought it in '09 in MN with no indication that it was salvaged on the title. That seems totally bizarre that they wouldn't have to mention that on the current title!
I wouldn't trust a word a dealer says.
or you could just use the free iphone app "everycarlisted" and get free, full carfax reports...
ps. if you dont have it, its only free for a limited time, i suggest getting it soon.

AutoCheck has an Android app on top of the iPhone app. Either one can be used, though I would suggest you do some homework to note that Carfaux is limited in the detail they provide. AutoCheck has exclusive rights to accident data that Carfaux can't provide.
Do a google search on CBSnews Atlanta on Carfaux and AutoCheck to see the difference.

if a carfax has missing info it's bc it was not reported, which will affect any type of history report.
