Sup everybody planning a cool road trip from Florida to Rhode island with me and my boys but before we can go i need to get my car in shape and have a month to do so, i need your help

i have 174,xxx 2000 acura tl 3.2

nothing has been changed besides spark plug(ngk),powerstering belt 2 new tires a few oil changes, heated springs={,seafoam, some pipieing,

at times my car starts going crazy rite when i start it
it started to hesitate, crazy shakein tcs light came on then came off, reset the ecu all came back

got the codes later that day i was getting reads of p1399,01,02,04,05,06
mis-firen from every cly

i took it to a few shops and one dude was saying its the fuel system, another said valve adj, another said egr, another said its a sensor

A; is the t-belt a must before going on the trip and valve adj evan if that is not the reason for the misfiring, also what other things should i make sure is done before the trip

If you have never changed your timing belt, you NEED to change it before the trip. As for the misfires, you have some work ahead of you. I'm sure its an easy fix, but exacting the problem can be troublesome. Tom has helped others with misfire problems, so I'd wait for him to chime in.

You only had a few oil changes by 174k? Oil change is due every 7.5k with the oil filter change every 15k.

how old are the spark plugs? correct ngk--the 8 dollar ones?
realistically they last 100kmiles at the outside, most of us change around 70

timing belt, water pump, valve adjust, with egr port cleaning of intake manifold are all way overdue on your car
valve adjust for sure by now too--at 100 a few are off spec, but now,,several and farther
It makes a huge differance in performance, and gives a chance to clean intake manifold as combined labor

multi cyl misfire code is often just 1 bad coil
you can ck threads here for how to test,,unplug 1, start and ck idle speed, when you get one that doesnt drop the idle slightly--you found the bad coil

Reset ecu via clock fuse method when you install the new coil (any parts store) or move it around during testing
Expect that spark plug to be in need of new- will be fouled

saw a new way of cyl. testing on nascar- a crayon touched to each exhaust pipe as it exits the head, the one that doesnt melt it is dead!
or for the techie harbor freight tool fan, an infrared heat gun/guage- point and read anything

Why have you changed the oil 3 times in 4 months?
how does it look..tried seafoam in the oil before change yet

sidenote: regardless of any book- using a regular oil filter (not special amzoil type)
dont wait 15kmiles to change it- thats not a good plan over saving $5 now
When you do oil at 5000-7500 miles depending on your needs and preferance,
change the filter- its way cheap insurance by being able to capture crud.
If it gets full- it bypasses and doesnt filter anything more

if you are on the original timing belt--stop driving it-
get a gates brand set of parts for ~250 or acura brand thru vendor wholesalepartsguy for 350..-400 with the extra gaskets for v/c etc
See the 105 service diy and decide if doing it with your buddies or shelling out for several hours labor at a shop

look at the bolts on timing belt cover- any signs of contact with a socket or wrench 70kmiles ago?
It you start taking it apart and see the belt is ~new~,,stop- put it together and enjoy another year.

for trip prep - there are many threads with that title- search feature will help
