Check engine with VSC light on........

Friend on mine bought an '03 Type S a month after I bought my TL-P and about 2 weeks ago his car stalled while it was stopped at a stop light. He then brought the car back to the dealer and they said when the car came out of the factory, they didn't adjust the throttle? They said that the car's idle was not adjusted right, but he drove it for over 700 miles. Anyway, just last week, the car stalled again and check engine light along with the VSC light came on. Anybody else has this problem? My TL-P has been trouble free so far and I don't have VSC, so I don't know what his talking about.

Mine had both Engine Check & TCS indicators came on long time ago. It was Engine Misfire false code.
Cleared the code, no problem so far...

I know exactly what the problem is because it happened to me a while back ... 2 months after I bought the car I had 2 cylinder misfire codes ... The funny thing was a week before this happend the car would not start and flooded a cylinder and had all the plugs replaced.

Anways... here is the story.
Car was jerking like MAD so got it towed to the dealer... Next morning I was *****ING to them to get it fixed ASAP... I guess they heard me cause they had it done in 1 hour... anyways... here is what the problem is

Since we have a coil-on-spark ignition two of my coil-pack connectors while they appeared connect has the pins bent inside... (Think of a computer serial connector with bent pins)... I guessed I must have hit a bump that caused them to separate enough where they did not fire anymore.

Hope this helps. (although I was the laughing stock at work since I kept bragging about my new car to everyone and had to call in late that morning).

No, you have to perform diagnosis.
