Check Engine Lights when i install new Spark Plugs... Plz Hlep

i just finish installing my Denso IK20's then reset the ECU then the check engine light came when i start my car. after that i installed the AEM intake and the light is still on.. is it because i used the IK20's instead of the IK16's? i remembered that Tim said to use the IK20's if you have a Modded TL (I/H/E) so i dont kno what i should do.... Any suggestions?

did you torque them properly?
are the wires attached securely?
you didnt mix up the wires did you?

most importantly, is your car running ok? are you getting a smooth idle?

a torque wrench would be nice. if you dont have one, tighten them by hand until it makes contact (stops turning). then use a ratchet to tighten it 2/3 of a turn

When something bad happens it triggers the check engine light. The light then stays on until the battery is disconnected. Take off the battery cable for a few minutes and put it back on. You should've done this after your plug installation anyway, to clear the ECU memory so it can optimize for the new plugs, I guess. BUt do that and the light should go off. If it doesn't, or it comes back on, go to a dealer immediately! You might want to put your old plugs back in if you do that.
