Check Engine light came on again

Screw the dealer. They want to charge you $85 to turn a light off.
My dumbass friend fell asleep in my car about a year ago killing the battery. Charge My TL up and the frigging check engine light was on. It was like that for 5 months, till I took it on a long drive, 400 miles, and during the trip the light went off.
It came back on about 2 months ago but screw it, I'm not wasting my money. Autozone has free diagnostics and the codes that came up where nothing serious. It's all a scam. Most likely nothing is wrong. And for all those people that say check your gas cap, well, thanks for the great advice...

Hmm... don't mind me laughing at you if it turned out to be a misfire code or something and you end up breaking your wallet for a costly rebuild.
OBDII is a pain in the ass, yes. But it helps diagnose problems more quickly in most cases. Ignoring the MIL and OBDII codes is like ignoring that sharp pain in your stomach. There's something wrong and you need to get it looked at. Don't take MIL too lightly.
