help my CEL just when on and i need to know wats causing it, i was looking up info on where is the port that we need to short to get the light flashing but no one talks about it, can someone direct me to the port that needs to be short(not under the coin tray but another port) thanks

btw if you have the read out does anyone have the look up chart for each flash mean too? like if i get a code 22 wat does that mean? or if someone can check is the one i have here works for a tl-s?

I would love to get a code reader that reads Enhanced Codes not just the basic ones. Ya know, the ones that might tell you exactly what fuel injector in low on pressure not just the whole system.

 

jon you just put headers on right? did you clean them out first? did you put the ox sensor on wrong? when did the light first come on in relation to the header install? was it a few hundred miles later or right away?

AFTER READING YOUR POST AGAIN I'M CERTAIN YOU SCREWED UP YOUR OX SENSOR. EITHER THE ONE IN THE HEADER OR THE ONE IN THE CAT. EITHER WAY IT'S PROB CAUSED FROM THE HEADER INSTALL, I REMEMBER SOMEONE ASKING IF THEY NEEDED TO CLEAN THAT BLACK SOOT FROM THEIR HEADER, I REPLYED WITH A BIG YES AWILE BACK.
I'M A BIG FAN OF DOING MY OWN WORK BUT THE MOST IMPORANT PART OF BEING YOUR OWN MACHANIC IS KNOWING WHEN YOUR OVER YOUR HEAD.

yeah i know wat you mean, but im sure i cleaned it out well, and i drove it for a whole lot of miles b4 it came on, it was actually weird cus that day i had the muffler shop put back on the stock resonator for the exhaust and soon after it came back on but i dont see how they could have messed up when non of the sensors are back there....any idea how to read the flash tho, cus i have been experience weird ticking noises under the hood near the master brake cylinder.....there is a relay that connects to some pipes it clicks and i never heard it b4 till now...any idea?
