(that should be coming off next year), cause i had not been able to drive for a while, cause insurance was too much

thats the only real traffic violation i had before other then the usual tint tickets and no front license plate tickets lol

over here our insurance rates dont go up if we get tickets and my buddy only got a 1 month suspension
lucky ass... i talked to my lawyer he said hes gonna try to get me down to a one month suspension too by sayin that we should both be treated fairly if my friend got a 1 month suspension then i should also get same punishment

same shit here now. after 90 or 92 u have to be 18 to have a license. got mine at 16 hahaha. and have racked up my share of tickets in those years, and a lot in lawyer fees

Just be honest. Admit you just wanted to show off your exhaust, but be vehement that you were NOT racing. If you were, you'd be going a lot faster than 20km/h over. I got pulled over for doing 26km/h over the limit, and that was when I was coasting.

and i havent been to the court yet. i just got a letter today from the superintendant of motor vehicles saying to surrender my license.. and i have a 3 month prohibition. and they gave me a copy of the police report the cop sent them

But you can still go to court and plead your case, correct? If so, and the judge grants in your favour, you could probably get your license back and the suspension off your record.

yup the cop sent them the report and it said how he saw us street racing and stuff... and that stupid cop also added some extra stuff that never happened..he wrote when i passed my friend i cut him off illegally without turning my signals on or anything
but i still have a court date for the charge of street racing...

sounds like the cop is just being a prick but seriously i think that the cop is just trynna make it hard for you to defend your self and is really working for that bonus but it coulda been worst coulda gotten arrested idk about there but in hawaii you get arrested if they catch you racing infact on the last cruise had an eg hatch back running away from cops lol

you'll both still have your day to plead your case in court.
just have your stories straight. that he was listening for a noise that your car has been making at that speed, not racing.
OR that he thought your car was making a weird noise so he was keeping pace with you. something! anything but racing.
that still might be wreckless speed but atleast its not drag racing.
just make something up and both STICK TO IT.
two honest, hard working citizens, who dont really have bad driving records and who dont drive rice burners (4 door acura tl not 2 door honda civic) VS one cop. 2to1 should sway the judge in your favor.

after the superintendant of motor vehicles saw the report from the cop he sent me the notice of suspension by mail so im suspended right NOW.. they want me to sign the suspension notice letter for confirmation and send it back along with my drivers license

i think it was because the last time i got suspended 3 years agoo i remember i wasnt home and the mail man left a note saying i have a package and i can pick it up from the post office... then when i went to post office and signed for it... and opened it up it was a suspension later i totally wasnt expecting it
but yesterday i wasnt home when it came in the mail and i think my mom might have signed for it

and keep your license, its YOURS, you dont have to mail anything back. That license might only cost $5 from the DMV but its worth $100 if you ever get arrested and get out on bond. FYI, been there done that.
