Inspect the rear pads and if they are really worn replace them. They most likely will be fine because it is the front brakes that take the brunt of slowing down ur car. And EBC greenstuff is the way to go.

Or Iam I wrong about this on the 2004TL? I think what spl1011 is talking about is the VSA that is on the TL Type-S model 02-03years.

Even if the car has any electronic brake force distribution (which I am not sure of), the fact that majority of the weight of car is on the front wheels means that the front brakes do most of the braking and so the front pads will wear quicker than the rears

Hey 69TL, just to let you know, I tried the EBC's which definately improved the stop power, but because of the increase in friction and heat, they will definately warp your rotor if it is not properly turned down before the pad install. I learned the hard way by warping the rotors so bad, as so they couldn't be fixed, so a $400 new set of front rotors had to be ordered. Just something you might wanna think about.

Honda rotors from the dealership, that includes the labor as well though. Rotors by themselves, probably $200-$250
But if you want new rotors, i suggest checking into Brembro , they just put out a set for our cars. They're also powdercoated so they won't rust on the edges like normal factory rotors .

Go with Axxis. Yeah people here are always bitching about how much dust they produce, but they never take into consideration on how much stopping capability they have. I'd recommend Axxis over EBC. Just my 2 cents

the more you turn your rotor the thinner they get and less they will be able to handle the heat.
i had a set of oem rotors last longer with the green stuff pads than they did with the oem pads
