I am looking for some help on how to change a 2003 tl front headlight (driver side) assembly. I have to change it because it has moisture in it. Thank you

 

Remove the bumper.

Remove the bumper cover, then remove the bracket underneath the headlight assembly. There are three bolts - one on the fender side, then two side-by-side underneath the headlight. Then remove the two bolts on top of the headlight. One of those is also the grounding connection for the negative battery terminal on the driver's side. When you pull the headlight out, you will of course have to remove the bulb sockets. The HID ballast simply unplugs, but the low-beam, running light, and turn signal lights have to be twisted 1/4 turn counter-clockwise, then pulled out of the headlight itself.

Bumper removal takes all of 10 min first timers. Lay a blanket on the ground to help protect it incase it accidentally falls on you so that it doesnt get scratched.
