Arrow Changes between the model years? (2000-2003)

Just curious if anyone can point me to a thread or website that has a comprehensive list of the changes made to the 3.2TL between any model years? I'm talking nitty-gritty stuff (say, correcting problems with the brakes, making minor changes to the interior, etc). Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

(I've done several searches but it comes up with wayyy too many results)

...yeah, the lights (front and rear), in 2001, they added the Type-S as a 2002 model (I'm sure you know the difference between the TL-P and TL-S). The seats in the Type-S are different. The gauges are white. Type-S came with 17" wheels, stiffer (sporty) springs.

Actually there's a lot of little things that people overlook like for the '03 model, they re-shaped the side view mirrors to cut on the wind noise and thats just an example, you have to get a hold of each years brochure to see all the details.

For 2000, a new 5-speed auto replaced the 4-speed auto. A redesigned intake manifold boosted max torque from 5000rpm to 4700rpm. They added brighter bulbs for the gauges. The font on the guages were replaced. Standard floor mats??? Side impact airbags were added??? For 2001, I think they redesigned the center console cup holders only. For 2002, it has redesigned headlights and tailights, hood, front bumper, grille, and fenders. Fog lights were added. Front and rear badging were enlarged. They improved the brake feel. A-pillars and C-pillars have cloth. Reshaped side view mirrors to reduce wind noise. Improved door seals and more insulation to cut down wind noise. A new 6-CD in dash changer was added. The passenger side rear view mirror tilts down when in Reverse. Rear view mirrors automatically dims. Alarm system beeps instead of honk when activated. Auto-up driver's window??? The car key has a white Acura symbol instead of red??? Speakers have no more tweeters??? For 2003, Onstar was added, Desert Mist replaced Naples Gold and Redondo Red replaced Firepepper Red, for the Type-S, the door inserts are perforated, and the so-called improved tranny.

Speakers have no more tweeters???

is it realy a coaxial speaker. i haven't replaced my speakers yet, but i assumed it was a component system and thought that the tweeter was just mounted by the mid. 'spose i could find out by taking of the door panel. i can't imagine that my sisters 01 av6 has separates and my 02 tls doesn't. anybody know?

Geez VTEC 6300, your an expert. I've had both a '99 TLP and now an '03 TLS. It would have taken me days to think of all that stuff.

Same here. Own both a 99 TL-P and 03 TL-S. Only have a few additional items:
1) 03 has child seat anchors in the back seat.
2) Passenger seat heater only heats seat and not the seat back - side airbag.
3) My 99 has the windshield washer nozzels on the hood. The 03' has them hidden and they spray from under the cowling.

Very thorough recap VTEC 6300. You know your TL's

99 model - Thermostat opening temperature 160 - 171 Deg. F
00-03 models - Thermostat opening temperature 169 - 176 Deg. F

99-00 thru engine #2057690 - fuel pressure regulator 41 - 48 psi.
00-03 after engine #2057691- fuel pressure regulator 48 - 55 psi.

I remember that being different. Why do you think they bumped up the alternator capacity for the Type S?

Just a hunch, but it appears that the Type S radiator fan motor and condensor fan motor draw more current that the Type P. The Type S has 30 A fuses in series for each fan motor where the Type P has 20 A fuses.
