Changed my speaker fabric coverings.
Hey guys,
For anyone with parchement interior, you know the infamous circle of dirt on the speaker's fabric, which looks pretty bad.
I got sick of looking at the nasty circle, so I decided to change the fabric.
I picked color blue, its my favorite color, my door sills blue, my LED and neons are mostly blue.....so if it looks odd, i like it

nope, but its not that hard to do.
all you need is a breathable fabric. any shaping or cutting tool or a drill that you would need to use to separate the cover from the door itself because the clips that the cover is holding by are melted plastic, so you need to shave that off in order to pull the cover's tabs out. and you will need a hot glue gun to make the fabric hold, and to hold the tabs back in place.

interesting idea... at first i thought it doesnt match the interior but reading that you have blue lettering on the door sills & blue neons i think thats a better match. nice, props for being innovative!

Good shit. How hard was it?
My buddy and I have been thinking about putting in suede inserts on the door panels in our cars. Same principle.
Want to give us a DIY write-up?

all you need is a breathable fabric that is not see-thru. 2 yards should be more than enough, you can go with 3 just in case you mess up, the fabric its pretty cheap.
any shaping or cutting tool or a drill that you would need to use to separate the cover from the door itself because the clips that the cover is holding by are melted plastic, so you need to shave that off in order to pull the cover's tabs out. When you will look at the door panel after removing it, you will know exactly what Im referring to.
and you will need a hot glue gun to make the fabric hold, and to fill the tabs holes back in place.
One thing to remember, the fabric must be stretched as must as possible on grill itself, you dont want it hanging loose, or it will be vibrating when speakers are on. The Hot glue you apply on the grill, and then press the fabric on it, hold it for about 5-10 seconds, do like an inch at a time.
Thank you guys for the approval
take care...if you have question, ask away, or pm me.
