change calipers????

When i changed my brakes, i took a look at the rear ones and they were FINISHED(pads)
the mechanic told me that the calipers were a little seized so he put some antiseize grease on them and said they should be fine now.My question is,should i bother buying new ones?(i use the foot brake everyday.)

The foot brake is different than the rear brake caliper. It is actually a drum brake that holds the rear wheels when applied.

Granted most of your braking force is done by the front brakes, I would still replace the calipers if they are bad. I would get it looked at by another mechanic, sounds a little wierd that the rear calipers would sieze, but its totally possible.

i think it's the front ones that seized and most of the braking was done with the rear ones because of that.

Then definitely replace the calipers. The front do like 75% of the braking and it will hurt your braking distance if they are not working properly.
